Absolutely breathtaking views! Service was exceptional and they really went above and beyond to make us feel special and important throughout our meal. Favorite bites were the tuna tataki and the Amalfi Tokyo pasta. The filet Wellington took way too long (more than 25 min after the last bite of food) to come out and honestly wasn’t worth it. The cake they delivered for the birthday was an appreciated touch.

From the very first evening we dined at La Cala delle Lampare, we were blown away by the exceptional and seamless service provided by Rocco and his team. Passionate yet discreet, Rocco took the time to walk us through the menu in detail, describing each dish with care and knowledge. When my son didn’t enjoy a particular ingredient in his pasta, Rocco was quick to adjust the dish to suit his taste without hesitation—professionalism at its finest. To our surprise, the very next morning Rocco and his staff were back again—bright and early at breakfast—providing the same high level of service with grace and attentiveness. Despite the intense summer heat, Rocco was immaculately dressed in a long-sleeve shirt and tie, never once letting the conditions affect his professionalism or poise. There was a small mix-up with a coffee order one morning, and before we could even say anything, Rocco came over with a warm apology and clarified everything—an incredibly kind gesture, especially considering the confusion was likely on our end. That moment truly reflected his thoughtful nature and commitment to making guests feel cared for. Rocco and the entire team at Grand Hotel Tritone and La Cala delle Lampare made our stay unforgettable. This level of dedication is rare, and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Absolutely phenomenal experience with the curated tasting menu and with the staff at the restaurant including John Luca and Albino who made our visit incredible. The food was like no other, to the point I had experienced Deja vu from the food, even though this was my first time here. For fine dining it doesn’t get better than this, I highly recommend anyone staying in Priano or Positano to enjoy an evening here. There may also be a complimentary shuttle service if you inquire ahead to help get you from your hotel. We will definitely be returning again next time we are in town and look forward to it.

We were not guests of the hotel but came for dinner. First we enjoyed an aperitif in the lobby bar. Seemingly carved into the cliffside, this hotel is very pleasing with elegant old world charm. We booked our 5 course vegetarian tasting menu a month in advance and we were very much looking forward to it. We were not disappointed! My husband's egg allergy was smoothly accommodated. They had read their notes on us and were prepared. Even though it was a five course meal both the appetizer and dessert courses had multiple tasting elements. I especially loved the salad course with the very thinly sliced pea pods and on my plate the egg foam. Each course was unique from the last. The wine list well represents the regions of Italy. I did not take many pictures. The ones I did take also demonstrate the creative plating.
